Over the weekend I had the absolute pleasure of capturing this sweet couple as they embark a very exciting time in their lives. Bringing a precious baby into this world! Skylar and Ignacio are going to be fantastic parents and this baby is going to be loved to the moon and back 🙂

Earlier this week I was super excited to do Mr. D’s sitting session. I’ve been anticipating this session since I last took his pictures. This age is so much fun to capture, especially when they can sit on their own and NOT move or run away. When babies are starting to crawl (like mine at 7 months) it can be a bit tricky. However, Mr. D was a rock star and the perfect little gentleman in making my job easy 🙂
I can’t wait to do his Cake Smash pictures later this summer!
I absolutely LOVED doing this session! This was a split between Spring Portraits and a little 3 year old turning into a princess :).
Mom wanted to incorporate her little girl’s favorite princess dress and I can see why she loves it! But, before we started on those pictures, knowing that she would not take the costume off once on, we did some sibling Spring Portraits. I love how their personalities opened up to me through the camera. Such a sweet brother and sister combo 🙂

Last weekend was such a beautiful one, especially for this 1st Birthday/Spring session! I had so much fun capturing these sweeties who happen to be just gorgeous in their pretty Spring dresses 🙂
It is such a pleasure working with returning clients because I get to see the growth and beauty families go through as the years go by. I feel like I am part of the family for that brief time, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

Last weekend I had the great pleasure of meeting the newest member to the Martinez Family! He is going to have so much fun growing up with two big sisters :). I loved seeing the girls interact with their brother and being able to capture some sweet moments of just them and Mr. N. Precious memories I know and hope they will treasure as they grow up.
Happy New Year!! I’m so excited to share with you the first blog post of 2015 and fittingly it’s about a precious new baby boy 🙂
This is only my second Fresh 48 session and I absolutely love being able to capture these sweet tiny humans just hours after they’ve been welcomed into this world. It’s all about the details and cuddles from their mama’s and daddy’s.
So, just 6 hours new I welcome Mr. J and I look forward to seeing you grow up little man 🙂
Over the weekend I had such a blast taking portraits of this super awesome family, who I just adore working with, and capturing their sweet boy reaching a BIG milestone! Turning ONE! It has been such an amazing experience on my end watching this little boy grow right before my eyes. I was lucky enough to be there for his newborn portraits, family portraits over the summer, and now he’s one!
So with out further ado, Mr. D’s cake smash session!
It was such a treat to work with one of my dear friends and her gorgeous family! When we were discussing locations I mentioned Hartnett Park, which has so many options to host a portrait session, and Rebecca was so excited since this park has a special place in her heart, growing up in the area. It was a perfect location to capture some sweet memories.
Toward the end of the session I was so happy to be able to capture some endearing couples portraits while the kids were playing near by. It’s important to me to offer my amazing clients a couple shots of just mom and dad since a lot of times the last time they’ve had pictures of just the two of them is from their wedding! You can just feel their love for each other 🙂
I usually stick with sessions I’ve done with clients, but this one is different 🙂 It’s about my little munchkins in their holiday get up for a stylized shoot with some of our friends!
A couple of my photog friends, who happen to also be in the same mommy group I’m in, got together with our kids and had a fun afternoon munching on some cookies and trying to squeeze in some smiles in between. It was a cold and windy day but I couldn’t ask for better pictures 🙂
